Equiliberty Consulting is an advisory company established and managed by
Dr. Katarina Melzer with the goal of improving individual and societal health
management through a science-based, practice-oriented understanding of
the effects of nutrition and physical activity on health and body
weight regulation.
We offer the latest research, expert consulting and customized training to
individual customers and clients from academia, government, international
organizations, corporations and civil society. Our focus is translating the
latest scientific findings into practice-oriented recommendations for
achieving desired collective or individual health outcomes.
An accomplished expert and speaker on nutrition and physiology, Dr. Melzer
holds a Doctorate in Life Sciences (University of Lausanne), and Master degrees
in Nutrition (American University of Beirut) and Food Technology (University
of Belgrade). Having directed nutritional field assessments (International
Committee of the Red Cross), clinical studies (University Hospitals of
Geneva), and national research activities (Swiss Federal Institute of
Sports), she is also a faculty member of the European Society for
Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN). She works closely
with some of the most distinguished experts and institutions
in her field, regularly publishing in renowned scientific
journals and contributing to international conferences
as chairperson, moderator and speaker.
